Strawberry

Strawberry

I’m an artist and I love to make paper sculptures. This strawberry sculpture is quite simple, I would recommend making the pips and adding them to the strawberry as you build upwards from the base, and add the stalk and leaves to the model at the end. I hope you enjoy making your own!

Tomb Raider II Abominable Snowman vignette

Tomb Raider II Abominable Snowman vignette

After some simple Tomb Raider papercrafts, I decided I wanted to make a “papercraft vignette” from my “young Lara” in 2011. I liked it and I made quite a few already! The vignettes with the display stand make you remember a special moment from the games I guess and this one is extra special because it doesn’t just show you Lara, but one of a yeti enemy (that she “Stamps Out” like one of the bigfoot cousins that Larson shows us in the magazine in…

picoCAD Vehicles

picoCAD Vehicles

I turned the 3D data of “Vehicles,” included as a sample in the low-polygon modeling tool picoCAD, into paper models. picoCAD is a small and cute CAD software. https://picocad.net/ It might be perfect for creating papercraft data. Before printing, I recommend turning off the “Appearance – Smooth texture display” option in Pepakura Designer to make the texture look like pixel art. * The 3D data is used with permission from picoCAD. The papercraft data was created by Jun Mitani.

Nets which can be folded to 3 distinct boxes

From the same unfolded pattern, you can make three different boxes! In the 3D window of Pepakura Designer, you can see three boxes with different shapes. However, the three unfolded patterns shown in the pattern window all have the same shape. This very interesting fact was researched by Prof. Uehara. From one unfolded pattern, you can make two different boxes! In the 3D window of Pepakura Designer, you can see two boxes with different shapes. However, the unfolded patterns shown in the pattern window is exactly the same. This very interesting fact was researched by Prof. Uehara.
